FORT POLK, La. — A Veterans Day ceremony honoring those who have served in the U.S. Armed Forces was held Nov. 9 on Fort Polk’s Warrior Field

Col. Christopher S. Moretti Sr., Joint Readiness Training Center and Fort Polk chief of staff, was the keynote speaker for the event. He contrasted Veterans Day with Memorial Day, held in May each year.
