Chaplain: ‘Are you holding on to trash or treasure?’

FORT POLK, La. — Are you clinging to trash thinking as if it were a treasure?

On my shelf sits a book written by Francis Kalmy, entitled “The Richest Boy in the World.”

In this book, set during WWI in Hungary, the main character “Tony” at the age of 10 is placed in a state-run boy’s boarding school in the Carpathian Mountains.

He was placed there because his father was a Soldier in the war and his mother died when he was very young.
