Design Leesville logo
Test your artistic skills by designing the next Leesville Main Street logo and the chance of winning $250. The logo must represent the Leesville Main Street District which covers U.S. Hwy. 171 (Sixth Street) to First Street and from Mechanic Street to La. Hwy. 467. The logo can be created on a computer or hand drawn using pen or pencil, but must include the words, “Leesville Main Street.” Each design must measure 4-by-4 inches and be submitted on a separate piece of white paper, centered on the page. The Leesville Country Club hosts youth tennis clinics in June. Randy Stephens, a certified professional tennis instructor, is teaching the clinics and provides an overview of the basic strokes to introduce children to tennis. The clinics are free of charge. Participants should provide their own racquets and wear tennis shoes. The clinic schedule is as follows:
Clinic #1 — Ages 6-7 — Is Tuesday from 9 a.m.-noon.
Clinic #2 — Ages 8-11 — Is June 19 from 9 a.m.-1 p.m.
