Vietnam veterans get exhibit

FORT POLK, La. –– The Fort Polk Museum honors Vietnam veterans for their selfless service, and has assembled an exhibit from artifacts donated by local vets. The exhibit will officially open during a ceremony Feb. 25 at 3 p.m. at the museum, located at 7881 Mississippi Ave., next to the Bayou Theater. The two veterans who contributed both their private mementos and their stories to the new exhibit are Michael Belis and Carl Cedars.
